Beth invited me to be a part of here family's Christmas morning at her apartment, I was so excited to be able to join in the celebration! I arrived the night before and kept Beth company as she finished up the wrapping after the kids were in bed. We watched Christmas movies and were so excited to see the kids' reaction to all the fun things she had gotten for them.
Beth had cute new Christmas pajamas for everyone (she let me borrow some so I would fit in with the color scheme) complete with fuzzy slippers.
Monty LOVES his slippers, he kept them on all day and asks to wear them all the time. They are really adorable.
Happy Christmas Morning!!
(Beth's robe was so gorgeous and flowy and had a feather trim, but she could only wear it for photos because Trudie could not resist pouncing on it whenever she moved)
We had V take a couple of photos with the polaroid camera and Monty really wanted a turn, can you tell which ones he took....
Then it was time for presents! The kids were so excited!
V had wanted a Dalmatian costume so that she could match her Dalmatian blanket that Mimi got her, she was thrilled when she got one for Christmas.
Bless Trudie and her patient heart
I think Beth was equally as excited about getting Sia, the red headed scientist American Girl doll as V was.
The kitties got a brand new velvet bed for Christmas, Trudie loved it immediately.
Sweet Beth had filled a stocking for me! Such a fun surprise!
As happy as a kid on Christmas morning.
It was filled with all my favorite things! Even bouquets of freshly sharpened pencils! (We love quoting You've Got Mail to each other, and I LOVE office supplies)
I had Monty pick which lipstick I should put on, he chose the red one. When I had put it on and asked him what he thought he said it looked pretty. He is the sweetest.
Thee view of a joy filled, successful Christmas morning.
Beth made us homemade waffles with fresh strawberries for breakfast, they were so good.
She also had cinnamon eggnog and it might have been the best eggnog I have ever had. The cinnamon in it tasted like red hot cinnamon candies.
Agnes joined us for breakfast, I let her have a little bit of waffle thinking she would just lick off the whipped cream, but she actually at the waffle! Merry Christmas Agnes!
Such a happy girl.
Such a beautiful holiday breakfast.
After breakfast, Beth had one more big surprise for each kid.
For Monty, a giant stuffed giraffe, big enough for him to ride.
For V, a Rapunzle doll that was her same size! V had seen her on a trip to target and talked about her non stop for over a month. She was beyond thrilled to see her under the tree.
She couldn't wait to start brushing Rapunzel's hair.
