This year we celebrated Monty and his third birthday by doing one of his favorite things, riding a train! Trains are a ver4y big deal in Monty's life at the moment, it's his favorite conversation subject, his favorite toy, his favorite thing to watch and his favorite thing to learn about. His favorite train is the Hogwarts Express, followed closely by the Polar Express, we talks about those two trains constantly.
Beth reserved the entire caboose of the Heber Creeper so we had it all to ourselves!
She also made these adorable golden train tickets.
There were lots of fun places to sit.
Once we started moving, Monty was overcome with happiness. It was so adorable to watch his little face light up with excitement.
It was the most beautiful day, the scenery was absolutely stunning.
V and Monty took turns being the conductor and punching everyones ticket.
Beth had brought cake and old fashioned sodas so we could sing and cheer to Monty turning 3!

As we were getting ready to sing happy birthday, the train entertainment happened to stop by, talk about perfect timing! They helped us sing happy birthday and Monty thought it was the coolest thing ever. Afterwards, they stayed and played a couple of songs for us.
After our ride, we had a fun time with the silly things they had at the train station.
To complete the birthday celebration, we got dinner at Dairy Keen, a train themed burger and shakes place in Heber.
It was such a happy day! Monty loved every minute of it. I loved celebrating Monty, our little ray of hilarious sunshine.
