Our second stop was for lunch at the Wayra Ranch. This meal was INCREDIBLE, possibly my favorite meal of the entire trip. They brought out each food individually so by the end, our long tables were completely covered with delicious food. We got to try several different vegetable dishes as well as a variety of freshly grilled meats. Then to end the meal they served 4 different kinds of desserts, it was never ending goodness!
After our glorious meal we got a demonstration of Peru's famous Paso horses. These horses are well known for their natural, four beat, lateral gait known as paso llano.
After lunch we had just a little bit more to go until we reached our hotel. We stayed at the Casa Andina for the two days we were in the sacred Valley. I loved this hotel, it was so serene and beautiful! I'll let the pictures speak for themselves....
It kind of reminded me of a Peruvian version of Switzerland, if that even makes sense..
This is the view from my balcony, see that cute little house, that's where the resident llama lived, he was adorable!
Loved this post, makes me want to go back!
