Animal Kingdom

After two, big, nonstop park days, some of us chose to sleep in while others spent the morning in Animal Kingdom.

The rest of us showed up in time for our late lunch/ early dinner reservation at Tiffins. There was an amazing sand sculpture being created at the entrance of the park.

There was a kangaroo at the base of the Tree of Life!

I love Animal Kingdom, it might be my favorite Disney World park, it's such a beautiful place.

I was so excited to dine at Tiffins, I hadn't ever eaten here before but had always wanted to.

Tiffins is gorgeous, the different works of art on display are absolutely stunning.

We got Zingiber Fizzies, Passion Fruit Purée, Mint, Ginger Beer, Lime Juice.
They were so good.

I got the Tamarind-braised Short Rib, Brown Butter-Carrot Purée, Cipollini Onions, Medjool Date Jam, Roasted Seasonal Vegetables.

It was amazing.

The desserts were beautiful works of art, that also tasted delicious.

We got a couple of different things to share:

Chocolate Gateaux
Cinnamon-Chocolate Gâteaux, Almond Praline, Ganache, Chocolate-Amarula Sauce

The Lion King
Caramel Mousse, Chocolate Brownie, Strawberry-Mango Sauce

This meal was out of this world, everything was so flavorful and created with such unique flavor profiles.

Guests get a little art print with their check.

After our amazing meal, we took a closer look at the art that was in our dining room, as well as explored the other three dining rooms. The one we were seated in was by far my favorite.

The Nomad Lounge looked incredible. I would love to come and get a refreshing drink and sit outside on their dreamy patio which overlooks the river.

After our meal, we discovered most of the attractions were already closed, we didn't realize most things closed down so early in this park.

So we wandered around, enjoying the scenery and the sunset ambiance.

V had fun wrapping herself up in my dress, and then doing a dramatic spin out.

We were able to see a couple of animals. Most of the gibbons had gone to bed, but there was one still up and hanging out.

We also saw wild bunnies!

This restaurant looked so magical, especially all light up at night. I don't remember ever seeing this place before, I noticed a sign that said Flame Tree Barbecue, so I'll have to try it out next time.

We wanted to make sure we at least walked through Dinoland for Monty, since he loves Dinos.

There were still a couple of rides open! So we hopped on the TriceraTop Spin.

Monty was in heaven.

We also wanted to make sure to see Pandora at night, it is so magical.

We were able to sneak on to one of the very last boats on the Navii River before it closed. I really wanted to make sure mom got to ride it because I knew she would love it.

On our way out of the park, we stopped for just a minute to see some of the light show on the Tree of Life.

Another successful Disney Day!
