On our last park day in Disney World we went to Mickey's Christmas Party in Magic Kingdom!!! I had been looking forward to this part of our trip for months! With our party tickets, we could get into the park at 4 pm, so we headed over to get in a few rides before the party started.
First, we needed a quick, light lunch. So we got hot dogs and found a table with a perfect view of the castle.
For dessert, I wanted to try out the new Cheshire Cat Tails from the Cheshire Cafe. This tasty treat is a braided pastry with a rich chocolate filling and pink and purple icing on top. It was quite decadent, I would recommend sharing one, but it was super delicious!
Riding Splash Mountain
Then we headed over to Fantasyland to hang out with some of the princesses. First up, Ariel.
Then we spent sometime with Belle.
These two are best friends and it is the cutest thing ever.
We took the happiest cruise around the world, which is Jenny's favorite ride!
For dinner, we had reservations at Liberty Tree Tavern in Liberty Land. I hadn't ever eaten here before, so I was excited to try it out.
Even though we had a reservation, we still had to wait a little while for our table. There was a fun coloring station that some of the kids really enjoyed while we waited.
V and Reece opted for a movie and a nap.
The food was so delicious. Most of us opted to share the Patriot Platter which is made up of Roasted Turkey Breast, Pot Roast, and Oven-roasted Pork with Mashed Potatoes, Seasonal Vegetables, Herb Stuffing, and House-made Macaroni and Cheese
Our table got an Ooey Gooey Toffee Cafe to split for dessert.
After dinner, we walked over to the Haunted Mansion for a spooky thrill.
The sun was beginning to set, giving us beautiful views of golden clouds around the park.
By now it was time to get our wrist bands to the Christmas Party!!! We headed over to Adventure Land to one of the wrist band distribution centers. The park was starting to get ready for the party with such fun as these projections on the Pirates ride!!!!!
Next up, the Christmas Party!
