In continuing with our Covid safe outdoor activities theme, Beth and I went pumpkin patching at the beginning of October! It was such a fun way to celebrate the fall season, while still feeling safe. We chose to try out Mabey's Pumpkin Patch this year since it is a little more spread out. We went at the perfect time of day and picked out our pumpkins during the magic golden hour.
The kids had so much fun riding in the wagon as we strolled up and down the rows of pumpkins.
After we had collected as many pumpkins as we wanted, we had a fun time enjoying the cute photo stations they had set up at the front of the patch while we waited for our turn to pay.
V is so good at getting Monty to laugh and smile for pictures. He loves his big sister so much.
All Monty really wanted to do was lay on the ground and watch the planes fly by. This pumpkin patch must be on a flight path because there was always at least on plane over head. Monty is a master at spotting planes, even if they are just a tiny little dot in the sky. He will point up at the sky and say "pla".
His glowing ringlets were so adorable.
We spotted some "wild" life on our way back to our car.
We were able to catch the most gorgeous sunset as we packed up our cars and drove away. Such a dreamy, wonderful time at the pumpkin patch this year.
