Christmas 2021

Merry Christmas! Mom and Dad hosted a very festive Christmas Eve and Christmas morning and we had so much fun!

Mom made a very delicious dinner for Christmas Eve.

The kids table, looks like they had a good time.

Since Karin is the master hair braider in our family, V asked her to braid her Repunzel dolls hair.

She has a lot of hair so it became a team effort.

It ended up looking so beautiful.

Then mom helped V fill the braid with flowers like in the movie Tangled. Repunzel is part of the family now.

For dessert, we had a delicious charcuterie board of delicious sweets.

Then we played our annual game of Bingo, it's a great game for all the different ages we have in our family.

We played until everybody got a prize!

Then it was Christmas music concert time. We have a lot of musical talent in the family.

I was assigned hiding the  presents for the traditional grandpa's treasure hunt, which is a tradition that Mom's dad started. Jenny and Mike helped me hide them all. We got pretty creative with the older kids gifts, they had to really search to find them.

Then it was off to bed so santa could come! I was actually able to sleep over this year, normally I have clients I need to go visit at night. It was really nice not to have to drive back and forth as much.

Merry Christmas Morning!

We opened presents upstairs this year which was a fun little switch up.

Thomas and James worked so hard and made Monty and Vienne these amazing pillowcases! V's was cupcake themed and Monty's was reptile themed.

V got some bunkbeds for her dolls, and it was a whole family effort to get them assembled.

I had the Burtons this year. Now that their boys are older, they are into getting gift cards for Christmas which is kinda nice. But I wanted to add a little something fun so their gifts would be a little more personalized, so I picked out fun candies for each of them from Pirate O's.

Snuggling sweet Monty while he enjoyed his bottle. I love that boy so much.

Beth got me the most beautiful make up, V couldn't wait to try it out with me. We swatched all the eye shadows on her fingers.

Beth also got dad this amazing owl lamp. Both Dad and Monty were completely entranced.

Such a happy holiday!

  1. It was a great morning and I love being able to share it with everyone. The time together is priceless and so cheering to see all the happy faces. The gifts are part of the fun because it is fun to make someone else truly happy and see them delighted with their gift. But good and companionship ware what really warms the heart and makes the memory. You reach out to everyone and are involved in making Christmas happy for them and in the end , that is what adds the cherry on top for you.
