In August of 2018, Bethy announced she was pregnant with her second little miracle baby! Then a few months later in December, she announced she was having a BOY! We were all so excited for her, Reece and Vienne!
Even though this would be their second baby, it was their first boy, so we thought we would throw them a baby shower to help them get caught up on some little boy clothes and to just celebrate this sweet miracle baby!
We asked Bethy if she had any themes she would like and she told us she thought a naturalist theme would be cool for a little boy shower, so we took that and ran with it! We held the shower in March of 2019 while Karin was up visiting, so that she could help be a part of the party!
Mom, Karin, Jenny and I were in charge of throwing the shower, so we combined all our naturalist looking things together to create the tablescape and decor. My office is filled with nautralist-y things so I had quite a lot to contribute!
For the food, my mom imagined a gorgeous charcuterie type buffet, filled with delicious things to create lots of interesting little bites. We had lots of different kinds of cheeses, deli meats, honeys, spreads, fruits, vegetables, nuts, dried fruits, crackers, pita slices, breads and tapenades for guests to use to create their own versions of the perfect bite
Everything turned out so wonderfully, it was such a beautiful and unique buffet.
During present time, it was so fun to see all the adorable and tiny baby clothes everyone gifted to Bethy and baby Monty. He is going to be one stylish little guy.
Such a fun day celebrating Bethy and her baby! We were so excited to meet him, in just one short month!
