California Adventure

The next day we were headed to California Adventure! Jenny, V and Morty getting ready for the day.

If you have been wondering how we were able to get so many cute group photos, here's a picture of our professional photographer in her stroller. I was so impressed with how well she framed all our photos! She is a natural.

We made sure she got to be in photos as well. V and B were matchy matchy that day, how cute is that??

Our first ride of the day was Mission Breakout. I love this ride so much and I couldn't wait to hear Jenny and Karin's reactions as this was their first time riding it!

The queue area is filled with the coolest looking things.

V was so brave and decided to try this ride out. She got pretty nervous when we were waiting outside  our assigned door...

Me, Karin and Jenny having the time of our lives! V did great and didn't scream or cry, but she still reminds us to this day, that she DID NOT like that elevator ride.

After we had made sure to ride Mission Breakout before the line got too long and had secured fast passes for Radiator Springs Racers, we took a break for breakfast at Starbucks.

Then it was time for Carsland!

While V didn't like the "elevator ride" she LOVED this ride.

It's one of my favorites too.

Next came Luigi's Rollickin' Roadsters. I am so glad they redid this ride from the floating tire ride that was always breaking down and wasn't even fun. These dancing roadsters are so adorable, and they are extra cute during the holidays when they dance to holiday songs!

Cool Runnings was one of my favorite movies growing up, I have all the lines memorized.

Then it was time for Pixar Pier! This was everyone's first time experiencing the new re-theming of the pier, it used to be Paradise Pier.

This makes me giggle every time I see it, they serve yellow snow cones.

We were very excited to ride the Incredicoaster (used to be California Screamin'). They re-themed it and gave it a fun story line. It even smells like cookies at one point!

Then we had to try Jack's Cookie Num Num stand, I had heard this cookies are incredible, they lived up to the hype. They are super rich though, one cookie for the 5 of us was enough, we each only needed 1-2 bites.

I was excited to see this adorable Bing Bong candy store in person!

Another new ride we decided to check out was the Emotional Whirlwind.

The theming of this ride is so adorable.

Morty, patiently waiting in line. The line for this ride moves very slow ...

Jenny wanted to pose with fear after we rode

V thought that was such a funny idea, she wanted to do it too.

Then it was time for lunch! We had reservations at the elegant Carthay Circle, I love eating here, the food is amazing the the atmosphere is so sophisticated, it feels like you have been transported to Europe or somewhere fancy. Its like a mini vacation during your vacation.

This was Jenny and Karin's first time eating here, so we made sure to be seated in the main dining room so we could enjoy all the Snow White details in the decor.

The food here is phenomenal. Their menu changes based on what fruits and vegetables are in season, so every time I dine here it's a completely new experience.

We celebrated Jenny's birthday here, so she got an adorable birthday dessert and a Happy Birthday pin.

After lunch, we rode Soarin' Over the World, V thought it was the coolest ride ever. We also got another churro to try.

This is from the churro cart just passed Grizzly Rapids, this was my favorite churro we got. It had just the right amount of peppermint and chocolate, it was delicious.

I always keep an eye out for the fluffy tortie kitties that live in the woods by the rapid ride, they are the easiest Disney kitties to find. Fun fact, there are about 200 feral Disney kitties on property, they help to keep the rodents away.
