It was so amazing to be able to meet as a whole family and acutally hug my mom on Mother's Day this year, as opposed to last year where we had an outdoor, socially distanced, hand sanitizer filled celebration, we still made the best of it though. But this year was wonderful!
The Utah Taste Off the week of Mother's Day was a bouquet of flower cupcakes, they were gorgeous, it was such a fun idea.
All of the cupcakes were absolutely delicious, our favorite was the one with the raspberry filled center that came in the black and white polkadot holder, it was the cupcake that won that week!
On actual Mother's Day, we cooked dinner for mom. Beth decorated the table and it looked stunning. She used Mom's mother's vases and filled them with our favorite pink blossoms from the tree in their backyard.
Vienne wrote all of the name tags by herself and got to choose where everyone sat.
Beth sent out ideas for the menu and we signed up for dinner dishes. I did the salted caramel brownie bites, the lemon chicken and the brazilian lemonade, Jenny made the red and green fruit salad, dad made our favorite homemade rolls and bethy made the green beans.
It was a delicious meal.
Beth gave mom this special locket that looks similar to the golden snitch when closed, then when you open up the wings, it unfolds and has a picture of all her girls. Such a cool gift.
We have the most wonderful mom. I love her so much and am so grateful for her undying support and her unconditional love for me and all my sisters, she is truly an amazing mother.
Love you so much Mom!
