Kuwaharas Pumpkin Patch 2021

I look forward to visiting the Kuwahara Pumpkin Patch every year, it is the epitome of halloween and fall. They keep adding on to the fun things they offer so each year is a different experience.

Monty was so excited about all the pumpkins everywhere!

Beth and I thought this one looked like a bum, so she modeled it for us

The kids had a blast jumping from pumpkin to pumpkin, I'm pretty sure they would have been happy just doing this all night.

Face painting was new this year and of course V had to do it, it's her favorite thing ever. Monty hadn't ever had his face painted before, so it was so fun watching him experience it for the first time. He did amazing at sitting still and being so patient for the  artist, she kept remarking how good he was for how young he is.

He was MESMERIZED by the results. He stared into the mirror for the longest time taking it all in. The artist had used a ton of shimmer powdered and covered his entire face and he thought that was the coolest thing ever. He was thrilled.

We had to eventually pry the mirror away from him

They looked so cute and festive!

The biggest addition this year was a halloween town that guests accessed by walking through an old fashioned, art nouveau themed train car. It was SO COOL.

The halloween town was amazing! Each building was a different store and they all had dressed up characters that interacted with you and you walked through.

The first building was a costume shop

Next, was an apothecary, this one was my favorite.

Then came the sweet shop

Next, was a very creepy toy store.

The price tags  were hilarious

At the end was the cathedral and it was really cool. The stained glass  windows on either side were animated and they slowly morphed into different scenes.

We got dinner at one of the food trucks, we chose the BBQ one. I got pulled pork nachos and they were really tasty.

After we had picked up dinner, wee headed to the kid area where there were tons of bouncy houses, a corn pit, little tractors to ride around, games  and more. We set up camp on some bleachers and Beth and I  enjoyed our dinner while the kids played.

We finished the night with hot chocolate for the kiddos and a quick stroll around the patch to see all the fun colored lights.
