California Pink Tour: Last Day in LA

On our last day in LA, we packed up and said goodbye to our adorable yellow house (and the clowder of cats that lived across the street that we would check on from our windows multiple times a day)

We had a few more things to check off our LA list before driving out to the coast. First up was the lamp post art installation outside the LA art museum. I have seen this piece in movies and photos so it was fun to see it in person!

It was so fun to wander in and out of the maze of posts. It was hard to document how amazing and unique it is.

I got a little excited and carried away and forgot it was an art piece and asked Beth to take a "Singing in the Rain" inspired picture of me. The security guard told me to get down seconds after I got up there, you can see it in my face. Oops.

Then it was time for lunch. Beth had two pink places she wanted to eat at, so we had a progressive lunch and had appetizers at Pink and Boujee and our main course at Pinks hotdogs.

Pink and Boujee is an adorable taco truck that serves tacos with pink tortillas. How Beth finds these amazing places is a mystery to me. She knows how to find all the coolest things when we travel.

They had sassy little tables set up next to their truck.

Their tacos were super yummy. We also enjoyed a watermelon agua fresca that came with a heart shaped bendy straw.

Then it was back in the car to go get some famous hotdogs!

Their menu is full of unique hot-dogs, it was hard to choose which one to get.

The walls of the tiny interior are covered with photos and autographs of hundreds of celebrities that have visited and love Pinks.

Miss Piggy's made me giggle, I sure hope she doesn't eat hotdogs ...

They have a fun sitting area in the back and we were lucky enough to snag the last table.

Beth got the Philly Cheesesteak Dog
9″ stretch dog with grilled steak, grilled peppers and onions, American and Swiss cheese

I got the Lord of the Rings Dog. With a name like that, how could I resist?
9″ stretch dog, yummy BBQ sauce, topped with onion rings

I got a little chuckle at their restroom signs.

As we were walking back to our car we found the most perfect pink wall, we had to take some pictures.

We even drank pink energy drinks on this trip, and they matched this wall perfectly.
So many little pink details.
