I always look forward to going to the pumpkin patch every halloween season. Our favorite is Kuwahara Pumpkin Patch, they add new fun things to their Thrill Park every year, so there is always something new to see no matter how many times you have been in the past.
Plus their pumpkin patch is the cutest.
Monty saw the face painting tent and was immediately excited to get his face painted, he chose to be an adorable black kitty.
V said she didn't want to get her face painted and Beth and I felt a pang in our hearts. Our little girl is growing up and growing out of the things she loved when she was younger. I haven't ever met anyone who loved getting their face painted as much as V so her saying she didn't want to was an end of an era. She eventually said she did want a little face paint and chose a cute sunflower.
As we walked into the Thrill Park, a show was just beginning so we decided to stop and see what it was. Monty absolutely loved it and danced his little heart out.
The shows are short, only a few minutes long, and they always have an exciting finish.
Then we got hot cocoa and hot dogs for dinner. This was the prettiest hot cocoa I had ever seen.
This pumpkin thrown was new this year and such a fun photo op.
There is a fairytale maze that we have been intrigued by every year. We could see a castle turret over the walls and we thought it looked so magical. V has been too scared to go every year so we hadn't ever seen what it was like. This year I decided to quickly go through it alone to see if it was as cute as we were hoping it was.
It was not.
It was more like a haunted house, not a magical fairytale land like Beth and I were hoping it would be. It was cool in it's own way though, it's pretty immersive.
All Monty wanted to do was stay by the stage and dance to the music. At the end of every show, they invite the kids up to dance with them. It took him a couple of times to work up the courage to go on stage, but once he was up there, it was hard to get him off, he loved it so much.
