Lunch at Le Jules Vern

After our extremely magical stay at Disneyland Paris, we packed up and drove to the big city. We had very special lunch reservations at Le Jules Verne restaurant located INSIDE the Eiffel Tower, so it was a bit of a rushed morning to make sure we made it there on time. Lunch in the Eiffel Tower was the perfect way to kick off our time in Paris.

We checked in and were led to the elevator that would transport us up to the restaurant. We were all giddy with excitement. I had visited the Eiffel tower several times before, but hadn't ever had the opportunity to go up inside, let alone have a meal there, so I was over the moon with anticipation.

The interior of Le Jules Verne is a work of art. I was a bit surprised by the modern vibe, but I loved it. And as expected, the view could not be beat. We were one of the first parties to be seated, so we were lucky enough to get a nice corner table, right up against the window, so we had unobstructed views of the city.

A once in a life time dining experience wouldn't be complete without ordering fun, fancy drinks. I ordered this tall drink of goodness, which V promptly stole after having one sip and discovering it was amazingly good. So, I let her have that one and ordered another one. Drinks all around!

The food presentations were masterpieces, everything looked almost too good to eat.

After dessert we were given chocolates, homemade marshmallows and a plate of complimentary dessert amuse-bouches.

As we were leaving, we were each given a bag of madeleines and access to the restaurant's private observation deck.

After our lovely afternoon at Le Jules Verne, we walked to our Airbnb, which was only a block or two away from the tower. One our way, we discovered a picturesque little playground for V to enjoy and to get her wiggles out.

Our Parisian Airbnb was one of my favorites of the trip. It was simple yet spacious, clean and bright and had the most perfect view of the Eiffel Tower. It was heaven.

This was my beautiful, little room. It had a very nice attached bathroom and a balcony overlooking a courtyard.

This was our view from the living and dining room balconies.

We had a relaxing afternoon in our new, little apartment. We settled in, dressed up as mermaids, and took naps.

When we all woke up from our naps, it was time to find something for dinner. We wanted something quick and simple since we had had such a big, formal lunch. We decided to walk over by the tower to see what we could find.

We found a crepe cart located right next to a carousel across the street from the tower that we decided to try out. They made sweet as well as savory crepes, so Beth and I got one of each and shared them both. V had fun riding the carousel while we waited for our crepes to be done. I am not kidding when I say this was quite possibly our favorite meal of the entire trip. The crepes were unbelievable, they were overflowing with fillings and were just divine. I still day dream about how good they were.

We sat on benches over looking the river while we enjoyed our crepes. Reece bought Bethy a red rose from a street vender, which was incredibly romantic of him. It was a unplanned, low key, spontaneous evening that turned out to be so much fun and remarkably memorable.

We walked passed this stunning bridal shoot on our way back home.
