March Moments

Here is a collection of little moments that made March a little more fun.

When we got home from sunny Florida, we were welcomed with a chilly, snowy landscape. It was beautiful though.

John and Andrew had a orchestra concert that their family flew out to hear. It was fun to get to see the whole Burton family!

After the concert, we went and got drinks and treats at a fun place called The Wash.

One night I went up to mom and dad's for a movie night. Dad made us key lime pie from some special key lime juice I had brought back from Key West. He used the official recipe on the lime juice bottle. It was really yummy and super creamy, we all agreed that next time it needed more lime juice though.

I always look forward to Ruth's St. Patrick's day macarons. They are always so adorable and have such delicious flavors.

Costco also had some super fun macarons for St. Patrick's day!

V wanted to be in an after school theater program. She has been going to play practice for a couple of months, and I got to go see the final production! The play was Moana and V was a sassy coconut warrior.

She did such a great job!

After the play, we all went out to dinner at the Crack Shack on 9th and 9th. It was a warm spring evening so we sat outside. There were lots of kids from V's school there so she ran around and played with them while we ate. We had a perfect view of all the dogs that walked by, and there were a lot! We asked to pet a fair amount of them. It was one of those perfect nights that will forever be a happy core memory.

Work went well this month. Lucy came to stay for a while, which is always entertaining.

Lucy and I went up to mom and dads to have a movie night and watch the newest disney movie, Turning Red. Dad had just gotten surgery on his shoulder and had to wear a sling. Lucy wanted to sit next to/ on top of dad during the entire movie.

I got this handsome fellow as a new client. Kodi needed three visits a day, so I really got to bond with him. He is such a sweet boy, I loved spending time with him.

He's a big boy but still likes to think he is a lap dog.

Oscar has been asking to play after lunch every day. I feel so honored he wants me to stay to play, usually he is ready for nap time and wants me to leave so he can settle haha. I love his funny personality.

Dinah and Louis continue to be too cute to handle. They make me giggle everyday.

V and I had an Auntie and Me date. V choose baking a cake as her activity. We went to target to get supplies and some fun candies to decorate with.

Gaga, the master baker helped us bake the cakes. And V frosted and decorated them all on her own!

Her cake looked amazing when she was done!

Seriously, the cutest cake ever.

After we were done baking, we played in the backyard and on the swings. Stickers, the neighbor kitty, came by to say hello! We always love it when he comes to visit.
