World Showcase

We spent our last day at the parks at the World Showcase. I was extra excited because EPCOT was in the middle of their Flower and Garden festival, I had always wanted to go to that!

The topiaries throughout the park were amazing, they were so fun to come across as we journeyed around the world.

When we walked in, there were so many characters to greet us! Monty loved them all so much.

This was a fun scent garden that had several fun flowers to smell. There were several butterfly topiaries in this garden, thy were magnificent.

This Fantasia themed masterpiece was at the entrance of the World Showcase.

The part with the dancing ostriches, hippos and alligators has always been one of my favorite parts of Fantasia. I always get so excited when I see it represented in the parks, which is not often.

We began our world showcase extravaganza in Canada. I love this pavilion, it is so beautiful and serene.

We popped in to watch the circlevision movie. For those of us who had seen it before, we were a little disappointed that the updated film didn't have Martin Short in it. He was the best part of the older film.

Next up was the United Kingdom. I loved the Winnie the Pooh topiaries here, they were so adorable.

The tea shop is one of my favorite stores to wander through, everything in it is so darling. This little kitty sleeping in the window while the mice play is the perfect example of how cute this shop is.

Mary Poppins waved hello from the English Tea Garden.

These large, whimsical tea cup planters in the tea garden just perfection.

Tinker Bell was also in the United Kingdom, there were several little Pixie homes tucked into the garden next to her.

Bonjour France! This pavilion is always a must stop place for me, mainly because of the patisserie, it has the most amazing sandwiches and desserts.

The Macaron Lime Raspberry is my favorite thing to get. It is ALMOST as good as the raspberry rose mickey macaron from Jolly Holiday.

We got to wave a quick hello to Aurora as we made our way over to Morocco.

In between France and Morocco was the most gorgeous Columbian garden that celebrated the Family Madrigal from the movie Encanto.

This spice garden was really cool and interesting. These sculptures were all made out of spices!

The Morocco Pavillion is one of my favorites, I was surprised to see some changes around this pavillion. The longer we were there, thee more we noticed that pretty much everything was closed, and my favorite bazaar type store was completely gone. We asked one of the cast members what was going on and they told us that because of some finical difficulties due to the pandemic, Morocco couldn't fund the pavilion anymore. So Disney is in the process of taking it over and making some changes.

Even though nothing was open, it was still such a fun place to wander around, the architecture is one of the best parts of this pavilion.

There was an exhibit about the Rally of the Gazelles which I hadn't ever heard about, it was really fascinating to learn about this one of a kind event. Rallye Aicha des Gazelles is what many consider to be the toughest motorsports event on the planet. The Gazelle Rally is an all-female, nine-day, off-road event through the sands of Morocco with no GPS. Points are awarded for the shortest distance between checkpoints, not the fastest time. All navigation is done with a compass and a map. An old map. And it's in French.

After Morocco, we strolled passed Italy, there were lots of fun topiaries in this area.

Lady and the Tramp! So, so adorable.

By Germany, there were these super adorable miniature Alpine village gardens.

These roly poly pandas in China were another one of my favorite topiaries.

We got to say hi to Mulan!

There were these beautiful, intricate sculptures of each of the Chinese zodiac signs.

I'm a Tiger!

Norway

Mexico

Monty and V found a face painting place.

We hurried back to France for dinner, we had reservations at Chefs de France!

I love how the Griffin kids are getting so adventurous with unique foods. Evie ordered octopus when we were in Animal Kingdom and Nora ordered escargot in France. This was her first time trying it, she said she liked it!

This baked goat cheese salad was amazing.

Monty has started drawing, and his drawings are so cute.

After dinner, we were exhausted, World Showcase is always super tiring.  So we all headed back to our hotel.

Spaceship earth is always so magical at night.

When we got closer, we realized they were doing light shows set to music, we stopped to watch the magic for a while.

Bambi and friends bid us goodnight as we exited the park.
