General Jackson

The last day of our tour was jammed packed full of fun, after we took the tour of The Hermitage, we drove down to Opryland to take a three hour ride down the Cumberland River on the famous General Jackson showboat.

The General Jackson is a 300-foot-long paddle wheel river boat and is the largest showboat in the world.

We were seated in the large Victorian Dinner Theater and settled in for our lunch and a live showing of Country Music USA

The show was high energy and featured some of country music's most well known and beloved hits from artists like Tim McGraw and Dolly Parton.

The performers had amazing voices and even more amazing and dazzling costume changes.

After lunch and the show we got to spend the next part of our cruise up on deck enjoying the sunshine and the cool breeze while sailing past the very iconic Nashville skyline.

We sailed past broadway which always seems to be a party!

Some of the singers came out and sang more country favorites on the top deck

I could not resist getting a huge boot full of soda, when on the General Jackson!
